Paul Stanley’s love of land, wildlife, and the great outdoors was instilled early on as a young boy growing up in Greenville, Texas. Little did he know then that his true passion would find him all these years later in Montague County pursuing a career in real estate.
After attending East Texas State University, Paul dedicated nearly 40 years of his professional career to the HVAC industry. He started as a Manufacturer’s Rep and ultimately formed his own company where he was a Principal in the Heyden Stanley Group. Paul recently retired after selling his interest in the company to enjoy the quieter side of life on the land that he loves and calls home outside of Saint Jo, Texas.
He and his wife JaLonn bought their first parcel of land in Montague County in 2001. By 2009, their forever home was built. And since then, they’ve added to their homestead, even donating a portion of their acreage on the High Five Ranch to become the Starkey Cemetery Stanley Addition. The Stanley’s also own an interest in the Jagged Edge Ranch where they raise a small herd of longhorn cattle.

Paul’s been an active member of the Montague County Child Welfare Board for the past 12 years. He also serves on the Montague County Disaster Recovery Board, Meals on Wheels and is a member of Friendship Church of Saint Jo.
